Argent Mirror began as a collaboration with our parent glass and mirror company, Philadelphia native Gordon & Sons. Discovering that silvered and antiqued mirror was highly sought after, yet hard to find, Argent, meaning "silver" in french, was created. Enter the creative genius of Cimone Berman, the daughter to Gordon & Sons owners, who has worked in the industry for several years. Little did they know 35 years ago they should have named themselves Gordon & Daughter. 

Based on a rapidly growing number of inquiries, Cimone enlisted the help of fellow artistic creator, Chrissy Steixner. The two began testing different processes on scrap glass and mirror and quickly established personalized methods to silver, mirror and antique, producing highly sought after custom pieces. No job is too large or too small and the custom aspect has been the most appealing offering for our customers. 

Cimone and Chrissy will work with you directly to determine which process is most appealing and suitable for your needs. Think massive antique frames, beautifying an old (or new) armoire, antique your favorite serving tray, plaster your bathroom walls, enlarge the space of your restaurant or coffee shoppe, the girls will find a creative way to meet any wishful idea. With the shoppe located in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, we work directly with local designers, homeowners and builders, gallery owners, and customers with an eye for the old school creative.
